This week we do not have a new spelling list or a Bible memory verse. We will be focusing a lot on our new writing project.
Spelling List and Bible Memory for 3/25 - 2/28
1. exceed (verb) : to be greater than or go above the limits.
example sentence: The price of the shoes exceed the amount of money that I have in my wallet.
If you want to exceed in sports, you must practice everyday.
2. notorious (adjective) : well-known.
example sentence: My friend's dog is notorious for having the loudest barking in the neighborhood.
The boy who cried wolf was notorious for lying a lot to the villagers.
Spelling List and Bible Memory for 3/18 to 3/22
Challenge Words :
1. queasy (adjective): feeling sick to your stomach.
example sentences: I cannot go to school today because my stomach is feeling queasy.
After looking out the windows from the 50th floor in the building, my stomach started to feel queasy since I do not like high places.
2. assure (verb) : to promise.
example sentences: "I assure you, there will be enough popcorn for all of us" said dad at the movie theater.

Spelling and Bible Memory for 3/11 - 3/15
Since we will be focusing on preparing and practicing our presentations for the Culture fair on 3/15 Friday, we will not be having a new spelling list. We will have Bible Memory.
